Volleyball Recap: Stevens' Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Stevens unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Stockdale Brahmas. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Brahmas earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Alyssia Murphy paced Stevens' offense, picking up five kills. Murphy got some help from Gabrielle Ramon and her 12 assists.

Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Stockdale, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Stevens didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Sharyland on the 23rd. As for Stockdale, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Goliad on the 23rd.
