Champion lost to Windham back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Golden Flashes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bombers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Flashes.

Champion was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 28-26.

Kennedy McKee paced Champion's offense, picking up ten kills. McKee got some help from Zoe Patelle and her 24 assists. Taylor Rouan controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Champion's win bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Windham, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Champion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Newton Falls on the 7th. As for Windham, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lordstown on the 8th.
