The Bowne Wildcats's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers on Tuesday. Bowne snuck past the Rangers with a 80-75 victory. Given Bowne's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Rangers are ranked 362nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bowne has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Forest Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Campus Magnet the next time they take the court. Bowne will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rangers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
