Napoleon is 7-2 against Bryan since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Napoleon Wildcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Bryan Golden Bears at 7:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, Napoleon got the win against Southview by a conclusive 40-18. The victory was just what Napoleon needed coming off of a 61-37 loss in their prior contest.
Napoleon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Tassler, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Rosebrook, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Bryan put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Edgerton with a sharp 57-32 victory. Given Bryan's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while Edgerton is ranked 394th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Napoleon now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Bryan, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
