Chuckey-Doak were able to grind out a solid win over Claiborne on Friday, winning 23-12. The win was a breath of fresh air for Chuckey-Doak as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
The victory bumped Chuckey-Doak's record up to 4-5. Claiborne are on a five-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-7.
Chuckey-Doak will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against West Greene in two weeks at 7:30 PM. Claiborne will be playing at home against Cumberland Gap at at 7:30 PM next week.
