The Johnson Jaguars and the Lake Travis Cavaliers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Johnson Jaguars had to settle for second. Johnson took a serious blow against Lake Travis, falling 48-21. Johnson's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Nico Hamilton was a one-man wrecking crew for Lake Travis as he rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Chaston Ditta, who rushed for 19 yards and a touchdown.
Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Lake Travis, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.
Johnson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lake Travis will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Brennan at 3:00 p.m. on November 24th. Brennan is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
