After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southside, Thorsby was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Comer Tigers 55-6. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-6.

Those 225 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Lucas Jackson was Carroll's top target, picking up 96 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Thorsby's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
