It was another big night for Brooklyn Kenney, who dropped a double-double on 38 points and 17 rebounds for Blue Ridge Early College. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Kenney has scored at least 25% of Blue Ridge Early College's points. Another player making a difference was McKenzie Woods, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Nantahala's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.8 points per game. As for Blue Ridge Early College, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9.
