Wolfson is 0-3 against Sandalwood since April of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Wolfson Wolfpack will take on the Sandalwood Saints at 1:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Wolfson took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Bradford by a score of 7-4.

Caleb Camden made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Wolfson's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 4-8 when he doesn't). Camden was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Miles Charboneau was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Jaydin Morrissey also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Wolfson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bradford only posted an OBP of .258.
Meanwhile, Sandalwood entered their tilt with Mandarin on Monday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Saints have posted since February 20th.
Parker Shuman looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tobias Caughman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
Wolfson's record now sits at 7-8. As for Sandalwood, their record is now 8-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Wolfson has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Sandalwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Wolfson might still be hurting after the 13-2 defeat they got from Sandalwood in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Wolfson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
