Assumption entered their tilt with Mid-Prairie on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Golden Hawks an 8-0 shutout. Assumption might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by four goals or more this season.

Assumption's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Mid-Prairie, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-12-3.

Looking ahead, Assumption will be playing at home against Nevada on Tuesday. Nevada will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Assumption surely won't give up without a fight. Mid-Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
