Moberly is 1-9 against Fulton since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Moberly Spartans' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Fulton Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Hopefully Moberly focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday.
Moberly suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Saturday. They suffered a tough 59-38 defeat at the hands of California. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Moberly has scored all season.
Despite their loss, Moberly saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kish Jacobs jr, who scored seven points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Collin Knox, who scored five points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Fulton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boonville.
Moberly has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Fulton, they bumped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Things could have been worse for Moberly, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 68-52 loss to Fulton when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Moberly avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
