There's no place like home for the Jay Mustangs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They skirted past Warren 51-49. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Jay has scored all year.
Elijah Baldwin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 13 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Guillen, who scored 14 points.
Jay pushed their record up to 18-6 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.4 points per game. As for Warren, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.
Jay will head out on the road to square off against Stevens at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stevens and Jay are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Warren, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Harlan at 6:00 p.m. Harlan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Warren in Texas (Harlan is ranked 105th, while Warren is ranked 601st).
