Softball Recap: Morgan Township's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Morgan Township had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-5 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Victory Christian Academy Lions as they made off with a 17-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cherokees, who have now won three matches by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Victory Christian Academy fell to 3-1. They have struggled against Morgan Township recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

For Victory Christian Academy's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Norwalk, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan Township will head out to take on Andrean at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Calumet Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
