The Adams Central Patriots waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 53-36 victory over Lexington. Given Adams Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while Lexington is ranked 210th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Adams Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tate Mcintyre out in front who scored 12 points. Jayden Teichmeier was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Adams Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Lexington, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
