Weatherford is 0-9 against Trinity since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Weatherford Kangaroos will head out on the road to challenge the Trinity Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Weatherford suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Boswell 67-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Weatherford has suffered against Boswell since November 15, 2017.
Meanwhile, Trinity came up short against Crowley on Friday and fell 52-39. While losing is never fun, Trinity can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while Crowley is ranked 76th).
Weatherford bumped their record down to 14-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
Weatherford was dealt a bruising 64-23 loss at the hands of Trinity in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Weatherford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
