The Choctaw County Tigers waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Millry 44-4 at home. The squad ran away with 35 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Choctaw County was led to victory by Kamya Straight and India Graham. Straight scored 11 points along with six steals, while Graham scored 16 points along with two steals. Straight hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Thomas, who scored four points.
Choctaw County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-9. As for Millry, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Choctaw County and Southern Choctaw will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Southern Choctaw will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Millry, they will be playing at home against Choctaw County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
