Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Assumption). They took their match on Wednesday with ease, bagging an 87-14 victory over the Brown Bears. The Rockets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

Assumption got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ashlinn James out in front who posted ten points and four steals. James is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ava Moore, who put up nine points.

Assumption smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Assumption, bringing their record for this year to 21-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Brown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.

Coming up, Assumption and Male will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. Assumption knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Male likes a good challenge. Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
