Hialeah is on a four-game streak of home losses, South Miami a ten-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Hialeah Thoroughbreds will be home for the holidays to greet the South Miami Cobras at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Hialeah nor South Miami posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
Last Wednesday, Hialeah lost to Varela at home by a decisive 38-24 margin.
Meanwhile, South Miami had to suffer through a rough 69-3 loss at the hands of Goleman. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points South Miami has scored all season.
Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for South Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
Everything came up roses for Hialeah against South Miami in their previous meeting back in December of 2020 as the team secured a 60-26 win. Does Hialeah have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Miami turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
