Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Delta). They were the clear victors by a 46-26 margin over the West Bolivar Eagles on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

South Delta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Leading the way was Logic Powell and his one interception. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 19.

South Delta's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for West Bolivar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

South Delta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Bolivar, they will challenge Simmons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 4.9 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
