Last Wednesday, Kalaheo faced Kahuku in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Kalaheo fell 65-52 to Kahuku. Kalaheo's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Roosevelt pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Moanalua. Roosevelt's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Kalaheo's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-17. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.
Kalaheo came up short against Roosevelt in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 52-41. Can Kalaheo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
