Caden Esquerra gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Desert Christian is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 4-7 otherwise.
