  Westin Willis and  Mason Sackett stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Willis  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  double, while  Sackett  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dawson McDermaid, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Granger was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell just short of West Jordan by a score of  6-5.
 Providence Hall's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 9-9. As for Granger, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
 Providence Hall came up short against Granger when the teams last played  back in March of 2020, falling  5-2. Thankfully for Providence Hall,  Kaleb Breeze (who   tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits) won't be suiting up this time.
