Dallas has gone a perfect 10-0 against Crescent Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Dallas' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Crescent Valley has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
If Dallas beats Crescent Valley with 11 runs on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Dragons were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over West Albany on Friday. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Madi Ruman made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

In other batting news, Dallas let Grace Walls and Maddi Jones run wild. Walls went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Jones went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three runs gave Walls a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Woods, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Crescent Valley fell victim to Silverton and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Foxes. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Dallas now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Crescent Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Crescent Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Dallas has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Crescent Valley, though, as they've been averaging only 2.4 strikeouts. Will Dallas keep running through batters, or will the Raiders buck the trend?
