Samples has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Aniya Richardson, who scored 11 points.
Chico's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-10. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.5 points per game. As for Mineral Wells, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.
