The St. Francis Sharks will be playing at home against the Anzar Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Francis will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
After soaring to four goals the game before, St. Francis were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of Pacific Grove by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for St. Francis seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2023.
Meanwhile, Anzar narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Marina 3-2. The victory was just what Anzar needed coming off of a 4-1 defeat in their prior matchup.
St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for Anzar, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
Everything went St. Francis' way against Anzar when the teams last played on Monday as St. Francis made off with a 4-1 victory. Will St. Francis repeat their success, or does Anzar have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
