In what's become a running theme this season, Eastmark gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Poston Butte Broncos  a   10-0 shutout. The  win was familiar territory for Eastmark who now have eight in a row.
 Eastmark got a great performance from  Lexi Mendez as she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. Mendez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Mya Searcy was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tayler McCombs, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Eastmark is  on a roll lately: they've  won 16 of their last 17 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record  this season. As for Poston Butte, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.
 Eastmark will have a chance to go back-to-back against Poston Butte: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
