Baseball Recap: Ramsay Has No Trouble Against Parker

Ramsay's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Parker Thundering Herd with a sharp 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Carter Mosley was incredible, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Franklin, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Ramsay was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Ramsay pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Parker, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ramsay will head out to face off against Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parker, they will venture away from home to take on Jackson-Olin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parker is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
