It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Wasco Tigers had no problem doing just that on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 7-6 victory over the Dons. The win was familiar territory for Wasco who now have four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Cerritos lost, one person who can't be blamed is Josh Park. Despite the final result, he rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Wasco has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Cerritos, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.
