After a string of four wins, Beach's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-8 loss at the hands of the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets. The Bulldogs were down 21-0 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Jayvion Williams threw for 130 yards and one TD. Dakari Smith was his top target, picking up 75 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Beach's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Southeast Bulloch, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Beach will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Laurens at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Bulldogs' defense better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 41.8 points per game this season. Southeast Bulloch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
