 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Mt. Zion  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .962. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  OBP of .688 or higher in five consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Riverdale lost  19-5 to KIPP Atlanta Collegiate on Wednesday.
 Mt. Zion's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Riverdale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
 Everything went Mt. Zion's way against Riverdale in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023 as Mt. Zion made off with  an  11-5 victory. Will Mt. Zion repeat their success,  or does  Riverdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
