It was a good run, but the First Baptist Crusaders unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 57-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Metro HomeSchool. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for First Baptist in their matchups with South Metro HomeSchool: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, First Baptist still got an impressive performance from Levi Borner, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Borner is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Dudek, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
First Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for South Metro HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
First Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Metro HomeSchool also has no future games currently scheduled.
