Cuyama Valley extended the longest winning streak in Coast Valley (8 Man) this week by beating Shandon, 50-21. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Bears.
Maricopa took down Ojai Valley 44-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Cuyama Valley takes on the Indians. Charlie Bosma's team is in first place, while Maricopa is in third place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Bears take on Al Allen's team. Cuyama Valley has allowed 179 points this season, while the Indians have given up 144. The Bears allowed 21 points last week as they defeated the Outlaws.
There should be lots of points scored when Valley Christian Academy and Shandon face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Lions comes in having scored 330 this season, while Marc Sandall's team has scored 33.
Cuyama Valley led the league in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on the Outlaws.
