The Lakeside Dragons lost against the Edgewood Warriors back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lakeside took a hard 38-20 fall against Edgewood.
Edgewood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zeke Lucas, who rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Edgewood also got help from Jacob Ernst who showed off his sure hands for 114 receiving yards.
Lakeside's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 4-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.3 points per game. As for Edgewood, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Lakeside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Edgewood will head out on the road to face off against McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
