Lincoln County extended the longest winning streak in A Region 7 this week by beating Twiggs County, 49-0. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Grey Klosinski and John Morris gave Aquinas a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Klosinski threw for 24 yards and one touchdown, while Morris ran for 162 yards. Teammate Chris Lambert added to the ground attack by rushing for 42 yards.
Alec Martin was the best wideout in the league this week as First Presbyterian Day lost to Wilkinson County. Martin racked up five receptions for 43 yards. Joseph Lengel helped First Presbyterian Day's passing attack out by catching one ball for 31 yards.
The Vikings' Brooks Stroud and Scott McCormick have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Stroud has thrown for 1073 yards this season, while McCormick, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 25 catches for 568 yards. Brendan Douglas from the Fightin' Irish leads the league in rushing with 1069 yards.
Aquinas led A Region 7 in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Warren County. Morris in the win.
