The St. Rita Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Brother Rice Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (St. Rita is ranked 14th, while Brother Rice is ranked 21st).
Last Friday, St. Rita earned a 20-9 win over St. Laurence.
Among those leading the charge was Nick Herman, who rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Brother Rice didn't have too much trouble with Montini Catholic at home on Friday as they won 24-7.
Their wins bumped St. Rita to 5-3 and Brother Rice to 4-4.
St. Rita didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Brother Rice in their previous matchup back in September of 2022, but they still walked away with a 17-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Rita since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
