3A District 10 recap October 1, 2013
Clark's Andre Martin rumbled for the longest rushing play in 3A District 10 this season in his game against Franklin last week. Martin ran for 85 yards on the play and finished with 148 on the day as his team beat the Falcons.
Martin was a passing and rushing force as Clark topped Franklin.
Martin was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 148 yards on 16 carries as Terry Freeman's team defeated Ralph Tankersley's team. Teammate Mekail Harris added to the ground attack by rushing for 24 yards.
Tyler Butler has thrown for 330 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Clyde Thomas has 10 catches for 132 yards. Butler also leads the league in rushing with 242 yards.
The Bulldogs made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,250 from 12,068. The improvement was largely due to a 14-8 victory over the Falcons last week.
