Mansfield Gets a Boost from Van Cleave in 42-10 Win
Starting off the list is Mansfield's Braxton Van Cleave, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Van Cleave threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

On the year, Edwards has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 113.9 passing yards per game.

Teddy Clark Makes It Two for Mansfield
The second Mansfield player making an appearance here is Teddy Clark, and for good reason. He rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 70 yards.

Big Game from Williams As Crowley Fell 65-21
While Crowley might've come up empty on Thursday, Caleb Williams wasn't going down without a fight. Williams was unstoppable, rushing for 146 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while also throwing for 104 yards on ten of 15 attempts. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
With the loss, Crowley broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4. Williams and Crowley will play host again on Friday to welcome Northwest, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
