With a playoff game on the line, the Servite Friars rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Eagles. Nicholas Nodarse had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Servite.
Servite's win bumped their record up to 14-6-2. As for Valley View, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-5.
Servite will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Cajon on February 9th. Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
