Even if they lost, Ripley's defense still kept up the pressure with six sacks. Dalton Rogers was especially locked on to McNairy Central's QB and sacked him twice. Another thorn in the Bobcats' side was Lakenyan Currie, who picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Friday's contest might be decided in the trenches. Obion County has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 213.4 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Ripley, though, as they've been averaging only 78.5 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Obion County might still be hurting after the 33-12 loss they got from Ripley in their previous matchup back in September of 2020. Thankfully for the Rebels, Corterrion Moore (who rushed for 214 yards and three scores while picking up 11.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 31 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
