The Lansdowne Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight defeat. They were the victim of a rough 72-49 loss at the hands of Kenwood. Lansdowne has struggled against the Bluebirds recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Kenwood was led to victory by Andrew Otuyelu and Neo Feehan. Otuyelu scored 18 points along with three steals, while Feehan dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 rebounds. Feehan has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Austin Mbuyi, who scored nine points along with three steals and two blocks.
Lansdowne dropped their record down to 3-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Kenwood, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.
Lansdowne will square off against the Bulls at TBD on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Hereford is ranked 257th, while the Vikings are ranked 280th). As for Kenwood, they will head out on the road to challenge the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Patapsco is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
