The Jenkintown Drakes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Calvary Christian Academy Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, everything went Jenkintown's way against Liguori Academy as Jenkintown made off with a 68-42 win.
Tommy Walsh continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was James Callas, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Calvary Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to Springfield Township.
Jenkintown's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.
