St. Francis Prep has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against The Holy Trinity Titans at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Francis Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 308th, while Holy Trinity is ranked 50th).
Last Sunday, St. Francis Prep came up short against Holy Cross and fell 20-12.
Although St. Francis Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Sebastian Quartarolo and Tommy Zullo.
Meanwhile, Holy Trinity's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Sunday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by St. Anthony's at home and fell 41-14.
St. Francis Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Holy Trinity, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5.
St. Francis Prep took a serious blow against Holy Trinity when the teams last played back in September of 2022, falling 64-8. Can St. Francis Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
