Chesterfield has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Monday. They will take on the McBee Panthers at 6:30 p.m. McBee took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Chesterfield, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Chesterfield humbled Anson with a 53-17 victory.
Kierra Diggs was a one-man wrecking crew for Chesterfield as she almost dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 steals. The matchup was Diggs' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrahjah Robinson, who scored 10 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, McBee managed to keep up with Cheraw until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. McBee's rough 67-47 defeat to Cheraw might stick with them for a while. McBee has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Chesterfield pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for McBee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Chesterfield was able to grind out a solid victory over McBee in their previous meeting on Monday, winning 50-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chesterfield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
