Evans can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top against the Augusta Prep Cavaliers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Evans easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18.

Evans' win bumped their record up to 6-20. As for Augusta Prep, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Evans will take on Statesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Augusta Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lakeside on the 25th.
