After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Independence, Lipscomb Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Brentwood Academy Eagles as they made off with a 15-2 win. Considering the Mustangs have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lipscomb Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Brentwood Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.

Lipscomb Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
