The Grove Christian School Falcons can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat The New Community School 47-6 at home. The victory was just what Grove Christian School needed coming off of a 53-21 defeat in their prior match.
Grove Christian School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emily Hopkins led the charge by scoring eight points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sidney Fisher, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
The win got Grove Christian School back to even at 4-4. As for The New Community School, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grove Christian School will face off against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for The New Community School, they will head out on the road to square off against West End Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
