Northern Indiana recap November 13, 2013
Penn added to the longest winning streak in Northern Indiana this week by beating Lake Central, 33-6. The victory was the 12th in a row for the Kingsmen.
Elkhart Central fell to Concord 34-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
South Bend St. Joseph's Matthew Monserez and Denton Gillis led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-6 quarterback Monserez has thrown for 2,334 yards this season, while Gillis has 47 catches for 791 yards. Joe Phillips from the Blazers leads the league in rushing with 1,443 yards.
South Bend Adams made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,734 from 6,033.
