Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mariner Marauders. One positive for the Bruins, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mariner, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Cascade and Blaine will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Cascade is facing Blaine at the right time seeing as Blaine is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Mariner will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Oak Harbor at 3:30 p.m. on December 30th.
