Bandys have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on West Lincoln at 7:30 PM. Bandys are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Last Friday, Bandys put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against East Lincoln as they made off with a 35-14 victory. Among those leading the charge for Bandys was senior Ethan Howard, who rushed for 179 yards and 1 touchdown. Howard has been a consistent playmaker for Bandys as this was the 8th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for West Lincoln and Lincolnton, but West Lincoln stepped up in the second half. West Lincoln secured a 20-14 W over Lincolnton. The win was familiar territory for West Lincoln, who now have three in a row.
Bandys were able to grind out a solid victory over West Lincoln the last time the two teams met, winning 35-23. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
