Freedom simply couldn't be stopped on Friday, as they easily beat Patton 49-6. Freedom have a history of success against Patton, winning their last head-to-head 49-6.
Freedom's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 20 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Patton couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 20-0 heading into the break. The Freedom defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the match. The win bumped their record up to 3-1. The loss dropped Patton back to even at 2-2.
Freedom will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against St. Stephens in two weeks at 7:30 PM. Freedom have bulldozed their previous 3 opponents, so St. Stephens might have their hands full. Patton will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against East Rutherford at 7:30 PM.
